This policy covers the Mercer website operated by ZBANG LTD. Cookies and browser storage help remember your choices. Optional measurement helps us understand site use and advertising, but only when you allow it.

Analytics and marketing are off by default. You can reject both, accept both, or choose each separately. Your choice does not affect access to the website, documentation, or support.

The categories

• Essential — always on. These functions remember your privacy and appearance preferences, preserve a temporary support draft, and protect the support form from spam. They do not depend on analytics or marketing permission.
• Analytics — optional. Google Analytics 4 measures page views to help us understand which parts of Mercer people visit. Its scripts load only after you accept analytics.
• Marketing — optional. Google Ads and Meta Pixel support advertising measurement. Meta Pixel receives page views. Their scripts load only after you accept marketing. We do not send support submissions, email addresses, or hashed email addresses to these providers.

What this site stores in your browser

• Your cookie choice. The mercer_consent cookie and mercer-consent-v1local storage record remember your categories for this website. The choice is valid for 183 days if you reject both optional categories, or 365 days if you accept either. Saving a new choice restarts that period. Mercer's choice is separate from choices you make on other websites.
• Your appearance preference. The theme local storage entry remembers your light or dark selection. It has no automatic expiry; you can change the theme or clear it through your browser settings.
• Your support draft. The mercer-support-form-draft session storage entry keeps form text in the current tab for up to one hour after the last edit. It is cleared after a successful submission, and expired drafts are discarded when read. Files and the privacy checkbox are not saved in this draft.
• Changing preferences. A temporary mercer-tracking-reload session storage entry prevents a page from being counted twice when a preference change reloads the page. It is removed on the next load and is only valid for one minute.

If your browser blocks cookies or local storage and we cannot reliably save your choice, optional tracking stays off. We may ask again later. Clearing browser storage also removes your saved preferences.

Provider cookies and processing

When an optional category is allowed, its providers may use cookies and similar identifiers and receive page, browser, and connection information. Cookie lifetimes and provider-side retention vary with the provider and its settings. Their policies explain their use and your additional controls:

Changing your mind

Open Cookie settingsin the footer or use the button above at any time. You can turn analytics and marketing off independently. Withdrawing permission stops future optional tracking on this site; it does not undo processing that has already occurred. Your browser's privacy settings can also remove cookies and other stored website data.
